My name is Tanishka, and Mirror Echoes was born from my own struggles with body image. Growing up, I was bullied for my facial hair, and the constant body shaming in my environment made it hard to feel confident. Drawing became my escape, and over time, I realized I could combine my passion for art with body positivity. I believe self-esteem issues start young, and every child deserves to love themselves. That’s why Mirror Echoes exists—to help kids embrace who they are and become their own biggest fans.

Hi! I’m Arushi, co-founder of Mirror Echoes. I’m 17 years old and currently a high school student. I started this organization with my sister because I care deeply about helping young people see themselves with kindness and confidence.

Growing up, I saw how much pressure kids, especially younger ones, face to look or act a certain way, often shaped by unrealistic images in the media and online. That’s why I’m passionate about promoting body positivity and creating safe, supportive spaces where kids can learn to embrace their uniqueness.

Through workshops, storytelling, and creative expression, I hope Mirror Echoes helps every child feel seen, heard, and valued, just the way they are.
